James Justin has suffered a setback with his return from injury, meaning Leicester City will be without him for a little longer.

Leicester City's James Justin has suffered a setback with his injury recovery recently, pushing his return to a late date.

The Foxes star has been out of action since February when he damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and he was originally set to play for the Under-23s team this month.

However, he has been dealt a blow in those plans with a minor setback that will now see his first time back on the pitch taking place in December instead.

"At that stage, we wanted to get him into an Under-23 game but there was just a slight reaction to that which has put him back, but not for too long. I would say in the next five or six days he will join the squad again," Brendan Rodgers stated.

"We just have to make sure after a long time out we make sure he is ready to be back, and take it step by step. In those few weeks he looked absolutely brilliant."

Should things go to plan for Leicester, Justin will be able to make his return to the pitch in time for their busy festive period, with the club currently sat in 10th place.
