Eden Hazard urged to stay in France

Lille captain Rio Mavuba believes that Eden Hazard should snub the Premier League and stay in Ligue 1.

Eden Hazard's Lille teammate Rio Mavuba believes that the playmaker should remain in France instead of making his "dream" move to the Premier League.

The Belgium international has been linked to the likes of Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, as well as a host of other clubs around Europe.

"Eden is very talented and he is one of the most physically powerful players I have met in my career," Mavuba told RMC Sports.

"He is always perfecting his shots in practice and he will be a big star. It is normal to join a big club but I would advise him to stay.

"He tells us he dreams of playing in the Premier League and progressing as a player. But Lille can spend money on the team and we can improve for next season."

The 21-year-old has been part of Lille's first team since 2007.
