Tottenham Hotspur team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Liverpool

Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham Hotspur's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Tottenham Hotspur return to domestic action this weekend with a game against Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield.

Mauricio Pochettino's men desperately need a return to winning ways in the league following a 3-0 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion followed by a 1-1 draw at home to strugglers Watford.

However, the North London side will head into the game buoyed by an improved performance against Red Star Belgrade on Tuesday which saw them earn a 5-0 win.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Tottenham's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's showpiece meeting with the Reds.

Hugo Lloris

Status: Out
Type of injury: Elbow
Possible return date: Unknown

You knew almost immediately that something was wrong when Lloris landed at an awkward angle after conceding against Brighton earlier this month. The Frenchman is not expected to make a return until the New Year as he continues to recover from damaging the ligaments in his elbow.

Ryan Sessegnon

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: November 3 (vs. Everton)

Continued hamstring problems, something dating back to the summer, has so far precluded Sessegnon from making his Spurs debut, but the youngster is training with the group and coming closer to full fitness, although Sunday's game is likely to come too early for him.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR'S SUSPENSION LIST

Spurs have no players suspended for this match.
