Liverpool defender Emre Can has praised James Milner for passing on his footballing knowledge to the younger players in the squad.
The experienced midfielder joined the Reds in the summer following a successful five-year spell with Manchester City.
Milner, who was named the club's vice-captain by manager Brendan Rodgers, has played in all four of Liverpool's Premier League matches this season.
"I haven't had too much experience of playing alongside him just yet but it is clear that he is a fighter, is very experienced and is capable of playing good football," Can told the club's official website.
"I have already seen that he passes on what he knows to the younger players. He talks to us a lot and that can only help us. The experienced players need to pass on their knowledge to the young members of the squad so with [Steven Gerrard] leaving at the end of last season it is definitely good to have another experienced player like James Milner here."
Liverpool are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table.
