Pepe Reina says that he is "proud" to be playing alongside Luis Suarez at Liverpool.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina has spoken of his pride that he is part of the same team as Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan striker has scored 21 goals in the Premier League so far this season - a total that no other player in the division can better or even match.

With that in mind, Spanish keeper Reina has admitted that Liverpool are "very lucky" to be able to call upon Suarez's services.

"Liverpool are very lucky to have Luis. Every day I am proud to say that I share a dressing room with such a big player. He is 100% all the time," Reina told the club's official website.

"He can create the chances himself from nothing. He can be a killer in the box. But he can also provide assistance to the team and be involved all the time. He is not just a proper striker in the box. He looks to create."

Recent reports have linked Suarez with a move away from Anfield in the summer, with Bayern Munich said to be interested.
