Liverpool have been joined by AC Milan in the race for Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica, according to a report.
The 23-year-old has been in good form for Bundesliga strugglers Bremen this season, scoring and assisting a combined 12 goals in 27 appearances.
Speaking in May, Kosovo football chief Agim Amedi revealed that Liverpool have been keeping a close eye on the versatile attacker.
Jurgen Klopp's side have been tipped to make a formal offer when the summer transfer window opens, but Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Milan are also in the running for Rashica's signature.
Milan's prospective new boss Ralf Rangnick is said to have personally asked the club to sign the Kosovo international to bolster their attacking ranks for next season.
Rashica joined Bremen from Dutch side Vitesse two-and-a-half years ago.
