Liverpool want to sign Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica, claims the president of the Kosovar Football Federation.

Liverpool are interested in signing Werder Bremen attacker Milot Rashica during this summer's transfer window, according to the president of the Kosovar Football Federation Agim Amedi.

The 23-year-old has been in impressive form for his German club during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring 10 times in 24 appearances, in addition to registering five assists.

Amedi has confirmed that Liverpool want to sign the Kosovo international this summer, but the Reds are likely to face competition from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.

"There are many requests for him," Amedi told Syri TV. "I know that Liverpool in the Premier League want him, but also Leipzig in the Bundesliga. I am sure that he will be advised in the best way to make his decision."

Rashica could allegedly be available for as little as £13m this summer if Bremen are relegated from the Bundesliga, but a recent report has claimed that the Reds could miss out on paying the release clause.

The attacker has scored 23 times and registered 11 assists in 64 appearances for his current club.
