Serie A giants Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Stoke City and Switzerland winger Xherdan Shaqiri this summer.

Lazio have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri.

The Switzerland international has experience in Serie A, having spent several months at Inter Milan in 2015.

Shaqiri impressed for the Potters last season, contributing eight goals and seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances, though they were not enough to keep the club in the top flight.

Although multiple media sources have claimed that Liverpool are in talks with Stoke over the 26-year-old's signature, Football Italia believes that Lazio are now also in the running.

Shaqiri has recently returned from the World Cup in Russia, with one goal and one assist in four appearances for Switzerland.
