Liverpool are believed to be interested in signing Lyon and France goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Lyon chairman Jean-Michel Aulas hinted last month that the 25-year-old could leave Stade de Gerland this summer if a top European club made him an offer.
Current number one Pepe Reina has reportedly been targeted by Serie A giants AC Milan and, after becoming aware of this, Anfield bosses have identified Lloris as the ideal replacement should the Spaniard leave, according to 10 Sport.
Lloris has been capped 37 times at senior international level.
