Liverpool are reportedly still interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Reds were linked with a move for Neves in the summer, but ultimately a transfer never materialised, ensuring that he remained a Wolves player.
However, according to TEAMtalk, Liverpool are still keen to sign Neves after undergoing "major work" on a potential transfer.
The report claims that the Reds are weighing up a January approach for the Portugal international, with Jurgen Klopp looking to bring in midfield reinforcements.
In addition to Neves, the Merseyside club are believed to be considering other targets, including RB Leipzig's Konrad Laimer and Borussia Dortmund's Jude Bellingham.
Neves has also attracted interest from Barcelona and Manchester United in the past year, but new Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui is keen to retain the services of his captain despite the links with a possible move away from Molineux.
The 25-year-old is currently in Qatar preparing for Portugal's first World Cup game against Ghana on Thursday.
