Manchester City are reportedly keen to sign Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos next year.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly keen to bring Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos to England.

The 31-year-old has only made three appearances for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign due to injury, but he remains an important figure for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

Kroos's contract at the Bernabeu is due to expire in June 2023, though, and Real Madrid are thought to be keen to freshen their midfield during next summer's transfer window.

A recent report claimed that Liverpool are interested in signing the Germany international and could attempt to acquire the midfielder at the start of 2022.

According to El Nacional, Man City are also keen on Kroos, who came close to joining Manchester United when he left Bayern Munich in 2014.

The German has scored 22 goals and registered 80 assists in 323 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions, winning two La Liga titles and three Champions League crowns in the process.
