Liverpool are on the brink of signing French attacker Nabil Fekir from Lyon in a deal worth up to £60m, according to a report.
The 24-year-old has refused to give much away when probed about his future in the past, amid long-running links with a move to the Champions League finalists.
French TV station Canal+ claims that a deal is now '99% complete', however, with the 10-cap France international expected to become the Reds' first signing of the 2018-19 summer transfer window.
Speaking after Lyon's home win against Nice on Saturday evening, meanwhile, Fekir told France Football: "Is this my farewell? Frankly, I don't know. I spent an exceptional season here with players, fans and the staff. We ended up in beauty.
"You have to pass a course, it is true. I think I gave everything to Lyon. Now it is time to look into the future."
Fekir inspired his side's push for Champions League football by playing a direct part in 27 goals across his 30 outings this term.
