Liverpool midfielder Naby Keita reportedly wants to push for a move elsewhere given his supposed strained relationship with Jurgen Klopp.

Naby Keita is reportedly keen to push for an exit from Liverpool due to a fractious relationship with manager Jurgen Klopp.

The 26-year-old has been bedevilled with injuries this season and has been limited to just 15 appearances across all competitions, including a mere seven Premier League starts.

Keita's latest injury has all but ruled him out of Liverpool's final day meeting with Crystal Palace, meaning that he may have played his final game in red if he seeks an exit this summer.

According to AS, Keita and Klopp do not enjoy the best of relationships, and the Guinea international hopes to secure a move away from Anfield if the German is still in control of the reins next season.

The report adds that the midfielder's entourage have approached Atletico Madrid over a possible summer move, but the newly-crowned La Liga champions have other priorities at this moment in time.

Keita's existing deal at Anfield expires in the summer of 2023, and he has scored seven goals and assisted four more in 76 appearances for the club since arriving in 2018.
