Jurgen Klopp's top goalkeeping target Alisson will reportedly reject Liverpool's advances and instead sign a new contract with Roma.
The 25-year-old, favourite to start in goal for Brazil at this summer's World Cup, has been at the centre of numerous transfer stories over the past 12 months.
Liverpool have been strongly linked with the Brazilian stopper, with neither Loris Karius nor Simon Mignolet truly winning over Klopp, but the Giallorossi have vowed to fend off any interest.
Roma appear to have won the battle, as Sky Sport Italia reports that Alisson is ready to extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
The new deal is supposedly worth around £130,000 a week and will run through until 2023.
