Report: Glen Johnson heading for Serie A

A report claims that Inter Milan want to sign Liverpool defender Glen Johnson this summer.

Liverpool defender Glen Johnson will reportedly seek a move to Serie A at the end of the season.

The England international is close to entering the final six months of his contract at Anfield and as it stands, there is no new offer on the table.

It is understood that both parties are keen to seek pastures new, with Johnson keen to explore another European league.

According to talkSPORT, Johnson wants to move to Italy, with Inter Milan the favourites to sign the full-back.

A number of European clubs are said to be monitoring proceedings.
