Malaga have rejected suggestions that the owners of Paris Saint-Germain want to buy the club.
Reports in Spain in recent weeks have claimed that Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), who are owned by Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Crown Prince of Qatar, could take over the Spanish club who are owned by the prince's cousin, Abdullah ben Nasser Al-Thani, and are struggling financially at the moment.
"I categorically deny that there has been an offer to buy the club," Malaga's director-general Vicente Casado told reporters.
Malaga have reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season but have been banned by UEFA from European competitions for the next four years because of financial irregularities.
