Edin Dzeko insists that retaining the Premier League title with Manchester City is more important than his frustrations with his role in the squad.

Edin Dzeko has insisted that winning the title with Manchester City is the only thing on his mind this season.

The Bosnian has struggled to cement a place in the first team at the Etihad Stadium this season but claims that retaining the Premier League trophy is his main concern.

Dzeko told The Sun: "There are rumours about my future in England, Italy or Spain but I'm saying nothing.

"I am all about Manchester City and the deal I have here. It's my obsession to win the title again with City.

"Obviously it's frustrating to be on the bench but that's how it is in English football. The season is long and I will get chances, so I need to be ready."

Dzeko is in the squad that will travel to Upton Park to face West Ham United on Saturday evening.
