Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini hailed Sergio Aguero as one of the world's best strikers after the Argentina international scored four times against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Aguero, who also missed a penalty, struck all of his side's goals as they beat Spurs 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium, and the City boss claimed that the 26-year-old is one of the finest forwards on the planet.
"I think Kun [Aguero], in the way in which he can work with normality in the whole week, that he's one of the best three or four strikers in the world," he told reporters.
"Last year when he had so many injuries it's difficult to play as he did today. This season, I think he is working very well. He is 100% fit and he is demonstrating how he can play.
"Maybe he will not score four goals each game but he will demonstrate why is one of the best players in the world."
The result kept City in second in the Premier League table.
