Pep Guardiola: 'Manchester City will sign one or two this summer'

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola reveals that he will buy "one or two players" in this summer's transfer window.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has revealed that he will buy "one or two players" in this summer's transfer window.

Guardiola has spent close to £450m since arriving as City manager in July 2016, and the Spaniard has put together a side that currently sits 16 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The Citizens head coach has said that his club will again be active in the next transfer market, but the summer "will be cheaper" in comparison.

"Of course we buy a lot of players and they have helped us a lot and next summer is to buy one or two players more. So our market in the summer will be cheaper," Guardiola told reporters.

City will welcome reigning English champions Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
