Nemanja Vidic: Manchester United faced "tough game"

Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic admits that the team faced a "tough game" during their draw with Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Nemanja Vidic has said that Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich was the result of a "tough game".

The defender scored the opening goal in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final, before Bastian Schweinsteiger equalised for the defending champions.

The captain told ITV Sport: "It was a tough game. We had a good result at 1-0, we had good positions and were solid, but one mistake and we were punished.

"They're going to have a lot of possession at their ground so we have to keep our shape and I think we can hurt them."

The second leg takes place at the Allianz Arena next week.
