Manchester United could be without Eric Bailly for next weekend's Premier League clash with Newcastle United and beyond after the centre-back appeared to pick up a hamstring injury while representing the Ivory Coast.
Bailly, who started alongside Harry Maguire against Tottenham Hotspur last time out, was forced off in the second half of his national side's 1-1 draw with Belgium on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old appeared to be clutching the back of his leg before leaving the field, and according to Metro, the centre-back is thought to have suffered a hamstring problem.
The report claims that the former Espanyol youngster could now spend the next three weeks on the sidelines, potentially ruling him out of the upcoming games with Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea.
United should be boosted by the return of Axel Tuanzebe from injury after the international break, but Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones are currently not in the first-team picture, while Chris Smalling left Old Trafford on transfer deadline day to complete a permanent move to Roma.
Victor Lindelof's form has also been heavily criticised early in the season.
