Manchester United defender Patrice Evra is confident that the younger players will perform against title rivals Chelsea.

Patrice Evra has backed the Manchester United youngsters to shine against Chelsea this Sunday.

Last season's champions have made their best start to a Premier League season after hammering Bolton 5-0 last Saturday and the French defender believes that their excellent run will continue.

"Maybe Chelsea have more experience but United have more energy," said Evra.

"Energy in football is really important. That is why I am really happy the young players play for us.

"They deserve it. They are training hard and the boss has never been afraid to let them play. Sunday will be a big game for us. We have to make sure we win."

United are two points clear of Chelsea after the West Londoners drew against Stoke in their opening game of the season.
