Manchester United to face Hannover

Manchester United will face Hannover in the final match of their pre-season tour.

Manchester United chief executive David Gill has revealed that the club will end their pre-season tour with a match against Hannover.

The encounter will take place on August 11 at the AWD Arena as the two sides contest the Chevrolet Cup.

"All matches for our pre-season tour are now finalised and I am delighted we will be ending the tour with a match against Hannover 96," Gill told reporters.

"Germany is a great footballing nation and we are looking forward to playing in front of our many fans in that region."

United will also visit South Africa and the United States this summer.
