Ashley Young believes that Manchester City are scared of Manchester United's reaction when the two teams meet on April 30 following the 6-1 humiliation at Old Trafford earlier this season.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has claimed that all the pressure is on Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

The Red Devils now lead their local rivals by five points having reduced a deficit that once stood at seven points.

The two teams still have to play each other at the Etihad Stadum on April 30, with the at Old Trafford still fresh in Sir Alex Ferguson's mind.

Young now believes that United are in the driving seat and City "fear" their reaction to the defeat.

"I think they're fearing our reaction already," Young told Match of the Day magazine.

"A lot of people wrote us off earlier in the season with City being seven points clear, but we've just been going about our job quietly and now we've clawed it back.

"The pressure has always been on City, there aren't any nerves coming from our side. We don't play with fear and we haven't got nervousness going into games. We've got the momentum."

Seven games still remain in the Premier League campaign.
