Manchester United could send Amad Diallo on loan during the 2021-22 campaign to continue his development.

Manchester United are reportedly considering sending Amad Diallo on loan during the 2021-22 campaign to continue his development.

The 18-year-old officially arrived at Old Trafford from Atalanta BC in January and made eight appearances for the Red Devils in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign, scoring once and providing one assist.

According to ESPN, Amad will be a part of Man United's pre-season preparations, which begin next month, before a decision is made on whether or not a loan move would be beneficial at this stage of his career.

The report claims that the Red Devils could also allow James Garner, Shola Shoretire, Anthony Elanga and Hannibal Mejbri to leave on a short-term basis.

Amad featured in three of Man United's final four matches of the 2020-21 Premier League season, but he was an unused substitute for the Europa League final against Villarreal.

The expected arrival of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund in an £80m deal could harm the youngster's playing time next term.
