Chelsea are reportedly among a number of clubs interested in signing Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes on a free transfer.
Having failed to earn regular football at Old Trafford, it appears that the academy graduate intends to depart United on Wednesday.
Despite making just three starts and seven substitute outings for United, the 19-year-old will not be short of offers in the coming days.
According to The Independent, Chelsea are attempting to negotiate a deal with Gomes's representative Pini Zahavi.
However, with Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner having already agreed to move to Stamford Bridge, Gomes would be unlikely to gain an immediate chance in the Blues first team.
Clubs from Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal are all said to be monitoring the situation.
