Borussia Dortmund are reportedly no longer considering making an attempt to re-sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The 23-year-old's future at Old Trafford is currently being called into question, having again found it difficult to show his best form for the Red Devils during the 2022-23 campaign.
Sancho represented Erik ten Hag's side on 41 occasions in all competitions last season and was a regular in the second half of the campaign after returning from a spell out with a personal issue.
However, the Englishman only managed seven goals and three assists, and he has struggled to replicate the form that he showed at Dortmund during his two seasons at Old Trafford.
Sancho scored 50 goals and registered 64 assists in 137 appearances for BVB between 2017 and 2021 after making the move to German football from Manchester City.

However, he has only managed 12 goals and six assists in 79 appearances for Man United, who will have to make some sales this summer in order to bring in a big-money centre-forward.
A recent report claimed that Dortmund had approached the Red Devils to discuss the possibility of re-signing Sancho on an initial loan deal, which could potentially become permanent.
However, according to Bild, the Bundesliga outfit have now dropped their interest, as they believe that 17-year-old Julien Duranville will be better than the Man United attacker.
Duranville arrived at Dortmund from Anderlecht in 2023, and he made his first-team debut against Mainz 05 on the final matchday of the 2023-23 Bundesliga campaign.

Sancho was back in pre-season training with Man United on Thursday, with the Red Devils starting their preparations for the upcoming season.
Head coach Ten Hag is said to be keen to keep hold of the Englishman, but he is a player that could be sold if a big-money offer were to arrive during the current market.
Sancho is expected to be involved in Man United's first pre-season friendly of the summer against now Championship outfit Leeds United on July 12.
The 20-time English champions will also face Lyon, Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid, Dortmund, Lens and Athletic Bilbao as part of their preparations for 2023-24.
Mason Mount became Man United's first signing of the summer on Wednesday, and the English attacker has already trained alongside his new teammates.
