Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen is reportedly the standout name on the list of alternatives should Manchester United lose Paul Pogba this summer.
Pogba has admitted that he wants to leave Old Trafford and his agent Mino Raiola is "in the process" of pushing through a move.
Real Madrid are the firm favourites to land the France international, while his former club Juventus are also believed to be in the running.
United have yet to receive any offers for Pogba, but the Evening Standard reports that they have plans in place in case he does move on.
Eriksen, who has also been touted as a target for Madrid, is supposedly considered the ideal solution as he would be available for around £75m after recently entering the final year of his contract.
The report indicates that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eyeing up two midfielders even if Pogba does stay, meanwhile, with Newcastle United's Sean Longstaff believed to be another of his targets.
