Dimitar Berbatov won't be allowed to leave Man Utd

Dimitar Berbatov will be prevented from leaving Manchester United in the transfer window, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.

Sir Alex Ferguson has claimed that Dimitar Berbatov will not be leaving Manchester United this summer.

Berbatov has been used sparingly this season due to Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck's form but Ferguson insists that the Bulgarian will be at Old Trafford next season.

Ferguson told The People: "We won't be letting him go for nothing.

"Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs will be here next year and, unless someone makes an offer we want for Berbatov, he will, too."

Manchester United face Swansea City on Sunday afternoon.
