Manchester City will push to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic next summer, according to a report.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly determined to bring Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic to the Etihad Stadium during next summer's transfer window.

Having missed out on a deal for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane earlier this year, the Citizens are expected to spend big on a new centre-forward ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.

Man City are one of a number of clubs to be credited with an interest in Vlahovic, and according to La Repubblica, the English champions are desperate to win the race for his signature.

The report claims that Guardiola is 'in love' with the Serbia international and views him as the ideal player to lead the team's line in the coming years.

Vlahovic, also linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham, has been in excellent form for Fiorentina this season, scoring 14 times in 16 appearances in all competitions.

The Serbian is believed to have rejected the chance to sign a new deal with his current club, who could be forced into a sale next summer, as the forward's contract is due to expire in June 2023.
