Juventus reportedly lead the pack in the race to sign Fiorentina's Federico Chiesa, who is understood to be wanted by Chelsea and Manchester United

Juventus are reportedly set to pip Manchester United and Chelsea to the signature of Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa.

The 22-year-old has been persistently linked with a move away from La Viola following a strong Serie A campaign, with the Italian registering six goals and five assists from 23 league outings.

Fiorentina chief Joe Barone recently confirmed that there was interest from the Premier League for Chiesa, but Juventus are supposedly at the head of the queue for the player's signature.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus have identified Chiesa as an ideal alternative to Valencia winger Ferran Torres, and the Turin club would be willing to part ways with some fringe players in order to secure Chiesa's signature.

Juve are reportedly set to welcome back midfielder Rolando Mandragora following a two-year spell with Udinese, and Maurizio Sarri's side will also see Argentine defender Cristian Romero return to Turin this summer.

However, both players will allegedly be used as part of an offer for Chiesa, and a deal for the Italian could leave the futures of Douglas Costa and Federico Bernardeschi uncertain.
