England teammates of Harry Kane are reportedly of the opinion that the striker could refuse to return to pre-season training with Tottenham Hotspur in order to force a summer move.
The 27-year-old has informed Spurs that he wants to move on in the current market, and Manchester City continue to be credited with an interest in the centre-forward.
Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo has played down suggestions that the England captain could leave the club during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to The Telegraph, Kane's international teammates believe that he may not attend pre-season training at Spurs in a bid to force an exit.
The striker impressed during his country's run to the final of this summer's European Championship, scoring four times in seven appearances.
Kane enjoyed an excellent 2020-21 campaign at club level, meanwhile, scoring 33 times and registering 17 assists in 49 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest, but Man City appear to be in the driving seat to secure his signature in the current market.
