Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane firmly denies claims that he could join Manchester United.

Manchester City attacker Leroy Sane has dismissed claims that he could join Manchester United.

Sane has a contract with City until the summer of 2021, but is currently in talks with the Premier League champions over an extension.

The German's future under Pep Guardiola looked to be in doubt earlier this season when he was left out of City's first four Premier League matches.

The 22-year-old has been a regular in recent weeks, but a number of bookmakers recently slashed the odds of Sane completing a shock move to United.

The attacker has firmly denied such speculation though, insisting that a switch to Old Trafford 'would never happen'.

"That won't happen! That won't happen (joining United)," Sane told reporters. "That won't happen at all. I am really happy here and I'm on the right side!"

Sane has scored three times and registered four assists in 13 appearances for City this season.
