Manchester United want to sign Fiorentina's Nikola Milenkovic during this summer's transfer window, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Nikola Milenkovic during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils were heavily linked with the central defender last year, but he ultimately remained in Italy despite the widespread speculation surrounding his future.

Milenkovic has again been a key player for Fiorentina this season, making 29 appearances in all competitions, contributing three goals in the process, but he has entered the final 18 months of his contract.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Red Devils have again been scouting the defender this season and are ready to make a move during this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that €15m (£13m) could be enough to sign the 24-year-old, although a number of other clubs are also believed to be eyeing moves at the end of the season.

Milenkovic has scored 14 times and registered one assist in 162 appearances for Fiorentina since joining the Italian giants from Partizan in July 2017.

Man United are believed to be keen to sign at least one new centre-back this summer, with Eric Bailly, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe potentially leaving on permanent deals ahead of next season.
