Newcastle United have reportedly prepared a contract offer for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele.
The Frenchman sees his current Barca deal expire in the summer, leading to questions over his future at the Camp Nou, with a long list of clubs linked to a move.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Magpies have tabled an offer to the winger, seeing him earn £240k per week alongside a hefty signing on fee, following the successful takeover of the club by the wealthy Saudi Public Investment Fund.
They join several clubs interested in the 24-year-old, with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool said to be monitoring his progress, while Barcelona have reportedly given Dembele a deadline of a month to decide whether his future lies with the Catalan giants.
The Blaugrana paid Borussia Dortmund upwards of £120m to capture the French international in 2017, and he has gone on to make 118 appearances for the club, netting 30 goals and providing 21 assists.
His spell in Catalonia has been marked by several injuries though, having failed to feature so far this campaign.
