Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic confirms that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window.

Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has revealed that he wants to leave Stamford Bridge during this summer's transfer window amid the recent speculation surrounding his future.

The 24-year-old made a high-profile move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund in January 2019, and he has represented the Blues on 145 occasions in all competitions, scoring 26 goals and registering 21 assists.

Pulisic has largely found it difficult to show his best form for the capital giants, though, and a disappointing 2022-23 campaign saw him only manage to contribute one goal and two assists in 30 appearances.

The United States international only started eight Premier League matches last season, while he was named in a Champions League XI on just one occasion during a difficult campaign.

Pulisic's future has recently been the subject of much speculation, and the American has confirmed that he is looking to leave Stamford Bridge this summer to reignite his career.

"It's absolutely a time where I need to figure out what's going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I'm doing," Pulisic told ESPN.

"I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure."

Juventus have recently been credited with an interest in his services, while Manchester United and Newcastle United have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the attacker.

There has also been suggestions of interest from Saudi Arabia, but Pulisic is allegedly keen to continue his career in European football despite the money on offer in the Saudi Professional League.

"Obviously, it's been an interesting journey at club level for me. I thought it was a great couple years and the last couple years just haven't gone at all how I've planned them to be," Pulisic told ESPN earlier this month.

"It's been a really tough season for me personally and for our team of course at a club level."

Pulisic was an important player for Dortmund during his time at the club, making 127 appearances in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and registering 26 assists.

There will be huge changes at Chelsea this summer, with new head coach Mauricio Pochettino looking to improve on what was an incredibly turbulent 2022-23 campaign.

The Blues will not have any European football at the club in the coming season, though, having finished down in 12th position in the Premier League table last term.
