Manchester United are reportedly the clear frontrunners to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
The 23-year-old has emerged as a rumoured target for United, plus Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, after catching the eye in Serie A this term.
Milenkovic is believed to have turned down the offer of a new deal, possibly forcing Fiorentina to sell one of their star players before he enters the final full year of his contract.
Amid the growing interest in the Serbia international, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that United are the side leading the way for his signature.
The Red Devils are rumoured to have previously held discussions with the player's representatives and remain on talking terms.
Milenkovic has spent the past four seasons in Fiorentina's first team, having joined from Partizan in a £5m deal in 2017.
