Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly made signing Danish defender Jores Okore his top priority ahead of the January transfer window.
Okore, 20, produced a series of impressive performances for Nordsjaelland during the club's debut Champions League campaign earlier this season.
Ferguson is understood to be keen on adding another centre-half to his squad, amid concerns over the long-term futures of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand.
According to The People, the Scot is big fan of Okore and is likely to be more than willing to meet Nordsjaelland's modest valuation of £2m.
Okore has been capped four times at senior international level.
