Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race to sign Hellas Verona centre-back Marash Kumbulla.
The 20-year-old has made 18 appearances in his breakthrough Serie A campaign and is believed to be valued in the region of £24m.
United hold a rumoured interest in Kumbulla, who emerged through Verona's youth ranks, while Chelsea have also previously been linked.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Tottenham may also step forward with an offer later this year as they seek a replacement for Jan Vertonghen.
Spurs are said to have already been in contact with Verona to discuss the Albania international's availability and true valuation.
Kumbulla is under contract with the Italian side until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
