Thomas Tuchel will reportedly give consideration to keeping Marcel Sabitzer at Bayern Munich.
At the end of the January transfer window, Sabitzer was allowed to sign for Manchester United on a loan deal for the remainder of 2022-23.
The decision was made with the Austria international being regarded as no more than a squad member while working under Julian Nagelsmann.
Of his 40 appearances in the Bundesliga, just 15 of them came from the starting lineup, and it freed up Sabitzer to take an opportunity to move to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old finds himself in a similar situation under Erik ten Hag, being handed five starts and four substitute outings at Old Trafford.

However, Sabitzer stands to earn regular game time in the short term with Casemiro needing to serve another three games of a four-match domestic suspension.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sabitzer is enjoying life at the Theatre of Dreams and would prefer to stay in the long term.
Nevertheless, Romano adds that Tuchel replacing Nagelsmann as head coach of Bayern has now changed the situation, creating the possibility of Sabitzer returning to Germany.
Had Nagelsmann remained at the Allianz Arena, it is alleged that Sabitzer would have almost certainly left the Bundesliga giants in the summer.

Tuchel is expected to be given the freedom to stamp his mark on the Bayern squad, particularly when they find themselves in second place in the Bundesliga standings at this stage of the season.
From Sabitzer's perspective, he has publicly left the door open for either decision to be made in the summer, saying: "Whatever happens in the summer, we will see.
"I had to make a quick decision in January. I was focused on this, it was clear it is just a loan until the summer. I take every game as it comes. I'm very happy to be here. I will give 100%.
"I am very happy to be part of this team, this amazing club, and I feel very welcomed. I am very happy at the moment."
Sabitzer possesses a contract at Bayern until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
