Manchester United 'eyeing £80m triple swoop'

Manchester United are reportedly planning an £80m January spending spree on Kevin Strootman, Nicolas Gaitan and Enzo Perez.

Manchester United are reportedly ready to spend up to £80m to land three January transfer targets.

According to the Daily Star, manager Louis van Gaal is looking to seal moves for Benfica pair Enzo Perez and Nicolas Gaitan, while a deal for Roma's Kevin Strootman remains a priority.

It is thought that Van Gaal is looking to build his Red Devils side around midfielder Strootman, who is recovering from a long-term knee injury.

Meanwhile, United are said to be confident of signing Gaitan and Perez for a combined fee of £51m and are continuing to scout the duo.

United loan signing Radamel Falcao scored a second-half equaliser to earn the Red Devils a point against Aston Villa on Saturday.
