Former West Bromwich Albion winger Stephane Sessegnon has signed a two-year deal with Ligue 1 outfit Montpellier.
The 32-year-old had been a free agent since being released by the Baggies over the summer and had been expected to remain in the Premier League with Burnley.
Montpellier manager Frederic Hantz stole a march on the Clarets, however, having previously worked with Sessegnon in 2006 at Le Mans.
As well as Le Mans, Sessegnon has previously played in Ligue 1 with current champions Paris Saint-Germain, whom he left after three seasons in 2011.
Montpellier are currently 16th in Ligue 1 after claiming just one win from their opening seven matches of the season.
