Paul Dummett is eyeing a return to action next month, providing further defensive options to Newcastle United.
The full-back was originally injured during pre-season when the Magpies faced Rotherham United, as he suffered a calf problem that impacted the start of his campaign.
Dummett was due to return back in September, but he was then dealt another issue during a training session, which pushed his comeback further away.
However, according to a report from Chronicle Live, the Welsh international is expected to make a return within the next few weeks, which could see him available in December.
The Magpies have six games to play across the month and considering the fact they have only kept one clean sheet all season, his return could be welcomed by Eddie Howe.
Newcastle United currently finds themselves bottom of the Premier League, being five points adrift of safety.
