Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been handed a two-match touchline ban for improper conduct during the club's 2-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur.
Pardew has been banned and fined £20,000 for pushing an assistant in the second half of the club's opening match of the season.
The 51-year-old apologised for his actions immediately after the match but that was not enough to save him from being banned from the touchline for the club's next two Premier League matches.
Pardew will watch from the stands when his team travel to Everton on September 17 and when Newcastle host Norwich City on September 22.
