Norwich City manager Alex Neil has expressed his frustration at his side's performance in their 2-1 defeat by Manchester City this afternoon.
The Canaries had held their opponents for 67 minutes until Nicolas Otamendi scored the opener for his side, before an error from Joe Hart gifted the visitors an equaliser.
With less than 10 minutes to go City regained the lead thanks to a Yaya Toure penalty, and Neil admits that he was disappointed with the manner in which his side conceded goals.
"We have to do the basics right. With the goals we conceded we didn't do that. They are crucial moments in games," Neil told reporters after the game.
"It's hard to take when you do so much, so well. We have to go again next week now.
"We set out to frustrate Man City, which we did efficiently. You want to be beaten by quality - today we weren't."
Norwich will take on Swansea City in their next Premier League fixture on November 7.
