Laurent Blanc praises Paris Saint-Germain creativity after win over Lens

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc praises his side's creative qualities following an emphatic 4-1 victory over Lens in Ligue 1.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has praised his players for the number of chances that they created in their 4-1 victory over Lens in Ligue 1.

The Parisians moved to the top of the league standings following the win at the Parc des Princes, which came courtesy of goals from David Luiz, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Blaise Matuidi and Javier Pastore.

"The score is very good, no injuries, so today's is a good evening," Blanc told the club's television channel.

Despite result, the French coach insisted that his side will need to be more clinical in front of goal when they come up against Chelsea in the Champions League next week.

"We picked up all three points. We created a lot of chances, we played some good football, but we need to convert a higher percentage in four days' time," he added.

"It's pretty obvious... we won't have as many chances to score as we did tonight."

PSG now lead the way in the French top flight with 56 points from 28 games so far this campaign.
