Zlatan Ibrahimovic: 'I no longer have to carry Paris Saint-Germain'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic says that Paris Saint-Germain are stronger now than they were when they won the Ligue 1 title last season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has no doubts that Paris Saint-Germain are stronger than ever this season as they no longer have to rely on him to carry the team.

Having thrashed Lyon 4-0 on Sunday, including a brace from the Swede, the Ligue 1 champions find themselves top of the table by a point with a game in hand on their nearest rivals.

"We're a lot stronger than last year," Ibrahimovic told reporters. "Now, there's not only me.

"[Edinson] Cavani can also score at any moment and he is really useful to the team in terms of defending.

"We're a really good team. I don't think Ligue 1 is too easy for us. We have won handsomely, but that's because we work hard."

Ibrahimovic, who is currently the top scorer in the French top tier with 11 goals to his name, will be in action on Wednesday when PSG travel to face Evian TG.
