Kevin Trapp 'cannot explain' mistakes against Bordeaux

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp "cannot explain" the mistakes he made in his side's 2-2 draw with Bordeaux.

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp has revealed that he "cannot explain" the mistakes he made during the French champions' 2-2 draw against Bordeaux.

The German dropped a cross for the away side's first goal then gave the ball away to Wahbi Khazri, who scored the equaliser, and Trapp told reporters after the game that he had to admit to his own mistakes.

The 25-year-old said: "I do not know what to say, it is my fault, that is certain.

"It can happen, this is the life of a goalkeeper. When you are a goalkeeper and you make a mistake, it's always a goal for the opponent. I just have to apologise to my team.

"There are things which we cannot explain, I controlled the ball, I listened to Thiago Motta, after that I can't explain my mistake."

Trapp has started all five of PSG's Ligue 1 fixtures this season after joining the club from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer.
