Paris Saint-Germain have kept the pressure on Ligue 1 leaders Montpellier with a 2-0 win over Saint-Etienne at the Parc des Princes.

Carlo Ancelotti's side went ahead from the penalty spot on 21 minutes after Sylvain Marchal had fouled Jeremy Menez in the area. Nene converted low into the corner to give PSG the lead.

Menez nearly doubled his team's lead before half time, but his effort came back off the woodwork.

The hosts sealed with win with two minutes to play as Javier Pastore found the bottom corner.
