Djibril Cisse is sent off by Mark Clattenburg after reacting angrily to a Roger Johnson challenge by grabbing the Wolves centre-back by the throat.

Queens Park Rangers striker Djibril Cisse has been sent off on his home debut after just 34 minutes against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The French forward was dismissed by Mark Clattenburg after reacting angrily to a Roger Johnson challenge from behind.

Johnson came straight through Cisse and was cautioned by Clattenburg but it was Cisse who saw red after grabbing Johnson by the throat and shoving him away.

The Frenchman scored on his full debut at Aston Villa earlier on this week.
